Founded in 2022, Cold Ramen Studio is the brainchild of Onion Kung and Oliver Tan, two creative minds whose paths first crossed in 2009. With Onion immersed in video production since 2015 and Oliver bringing years of experience from photo to commercial video production, the two reconnected after years of working alongside one another in the fast-paced media world. Their shared vision—to build a post-production house where storytelling meets precision—led to the birth of Cold Ramen Studio.
Specializing in video editing and post-production, the studio primarily serves the commercial advertising industry, with occasional ventures into TV series, social media content, and other narrative-driven formats. Their growing portfolio features top-tier clients such as MBSB Bank, Maybank, Perodua, Chery, Axiata, and Guardian, among others.
Though small in size—with a dedicated team of three creatives—Cold Ramen Studio thrives on lean agility, deep collaboration, and a shared obsession with detail. What sets them apart is not just technical finesse, but an editing philosophy rooted in rhythm, emotion, and aesthetic clarity.

With over a decade of immersive experience in the sophisticated realm of visual effects, Oliver has become a veritable virtuoso in digital compositing and retouching, relentlessly pushing the frontiers of what can be achieved in the digital arts.
